MNDX is a youth-led nonprofit designing and delivering assistive devices for people with disabilities, in partnership with the Neil Squire Society, Makers Making Change, and Rexdale Community Hub.
A $200 switch shouldn't cost $2,000.
Assistive technology is one of the most gatekept corners of hardware. Devices that could cost tens of dollars in parts are sold for hundreds, or don't exist at all, leaving people with disabilities without the tools they need to work, learn, and connect.
MNDX believes young makers can close that gap. We teach students to design, solder, and print real assistive devices, then deliver them free to the people who need them through the Makers Making Change network.

Small gripper that opens and closes screw on caps with less force.
Bag Carrier
Wide handle with hooks so bag straps stop digging into your hand.
Toothpaste Squeezer
A small flat tool that pushes the paste out of the tube, so you barely need any pinch strength.
Pill Splitter
A simple device that slices a pill into two even halves, so you do not have to risk crushing it.
Key Turner
A larger grip that slides onto a key so turning a lock takes far less pinch and wrist strength.
Blister Pack Opener
A small tool that pops pills out of blister packs without needing sharp nails or strong fingers.
Packaging & Instructions
Boxes, printed how to use cards and clean MNDX branding so every device arrives ready to open.
